RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Vestito Vintage, we understand that purchasing a wedding gown is an important decision.
Our policy offers flexibility while protecting the integrity of our vintage pieces. Please carefully review the following terms for your purchase:

Payment Terms

Upfront Payment
All wedding gowns must be paid for in full prior to shipment. 

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit is included in the upfront payment. The amount of this deposit will be noted on the listing prior to purchase.

Return Policy

If, after receiving your gown, you decide it is not the right fit, you may return it for a refund of the gown’s purchase price, less the non-refundable deposit and damage fees.

Return Eligibility

  • The gown must be in original condition: unworn, unaltered, and free from any damage or differences from 

  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery, as confirmed by the courier tracking information.

Return Shipping

  • Buyer pays for return shipping. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged returns during transit.

Condition of Returned Gowns

Upon return, we will carefully inspect the gown to ensure it meets the condition requirements:

  • If the gown is found to be damaged (e.g., broken zipper, rip, stain), we will assess a damage fee.

  • The fee will reflect the extent of the damage, and in severe cases, this may reduce or eliminate your refund of the remaining balance.

If the gown is returned in acceptable condition, we will issue a refund for the remaining balance (minus the non-refundable deposit and any damage fees) within 7-10 business days.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Notify Us: To initiate a return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your gown at ciao@vestitovintage.com.

  2. Return Instructions: We will provide you with further return instructions, including the return shipping address.

  3. Inspection & Refund: Once we receive the gown, we will inspect it. Refunds (minus the non-refundable deposit and applicable fees) will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

Sale Items, Getting Ready Outfits, and Accessories

All sale items, getting ready outfits, and accessories are non-refundable. These items must be paid for in full at the time of purchase, and no refunds or exchanges will be offered.

SHIPPING POLICY

At Vestito Vintage, we aim to provide a smooth and timely delivery of your orders.

Shipping Locations

  • We ship domestically within Australia and internationally upon request.

Shipping Fees

  • We offer free shipping Australia-wide on all orders over $250 AUD. For orders under this amount, a flat shipping rate of $14.95 AUD applies.

Processing Times

  • We typically process orders within 2-3 business days. Once shipped, delivery times will vary depending on your location.

Tracking

  • Once your order is shipped, we will provide a tracking number via email.

Delayed or Lost Shipments

  • If your order is delayed or lost, please contact us at ciao@vestitovintage.com, and we will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue.

International Orders

  • While we don't currently offer international shipping directly through our website, we'd be more than happy to assist if you've fallen in love with a dress! If you're willing to cover international shipping fees and don't mind a longer delivery time, we can make special arrangements for you. Simply reach out to us at ciao@vestitovintage.com, and we'll take it from there!
